Time to git outta town. "Don't let the sun set on your sorry ... in Dodge."
Did you ever hear that one?
I did. In Dodge City. Yep the real one. Not very spiritual but it conveyed the message. As I recall, it meant I was to get back home before dark. We only lived 25 miles south of Dodge. That's where I was born- no not Dodge - 25 miles south. Out in dustbowl 1st class. I could tell you stories - but don't want to bore you. There's been a LOT of water under the bridge since that experience. Believe you me.
But I want to let you know what's been happenin' since this new/great book came out.
Sales have been steady. Not bad for no access to Amazon, B&N etc. We'll get there. Amazon hasn't responded to my inquiry as to how I get them to put me on their shelves.
The speeches start next week - in Las Vegas where I happen to have "connections."
Another Great new experience - talking on radio talk shows. Ten and counting - one in the UK and another in Canada. I'm learning that those shows just don't sell books, much. Now after hearing ME as recorded on one of 'em I just may know why. We'll talk about it later.
I bless you all who take the time to read this .... and just know that it's going to get better- a lot better. We do allow you to post your thoughts. Please do.
A Newer "Slant on LIFE"
Forever is the period in which you find yourself living.
Finding yourself is the challenge... Finding yourself in the forever in which you are.A game most certainly.
Finding oneself is the game.
One's self is the focus - in this game.
